Iraq is anticipating a huge oil discovery in the coming period, after signing the final contracts for the fifth and sixth supplementary licensing rounds that took place in May earlier this week.

Chinese company CNOOC announced the signing of a contract for exploration, development and production for exploration area No. 7 with the state-run Central Oil Company for oil and gas exploration.
